At the top of the village lies the Rocca Aldobrandesca, built by the noble Aldobrandeschi family in the 12th century. The impressive fortified complex features a square-based tower attached to a palace. Over the centuries, the Rocca has undergone various restoration campaigns until it was acquired by the Municipality in 1980, restored, and opened to the public to be admired in all its splendour.
