Hello, the pleasure is mine, it’s nice to have met you and to be part of a project that values sports on holiday and the actors involved in it! Anyway, my name is Gianni Berni and I’m fortunate to live in the beautiful Tuscany, more precisely on the Etruscan Coast, facing Elba Island..
What’s your main activity?
“Mainly, I work in Tennis and also, when I get the chance, I collaborate in organizing events that cover all aspects of the sports world.”
Can you tell us something more about your working experiences in tennis and how you think you can be helpful to those who contact you?
“Summarizing almost forty years of activity in a few lines is not an easy task, so I prefer to tell you about what I’m doing now and how I can potentially be useful to anyone deciding to have a tennis holiday in Tuscany, whether they’re coming alone, with their family or with their reference tennis club or group. Having had work experiences at all levels (from children to adults of all skill levels, up to professional athletes), I’m collaborating, in various areas, with some of the best tennis clubs in my area.”

How do you integrate tennis with those who come on vacation in Tuscany?
“I also operate in various tourist facilities of the Etruscan Coast, because here, a holiday without sports can’t exist! Therefore, for anyone who wants to introduce themselves and their children to tennis, or simply wants to play or intensify their training while enjoying a beautiful holiday, I’d be more than happy to help.”
Do you like sharing the opportunities and beauties of Tuscany with those who come to play and train?
“Yes, I consider myself “privileged” to enjoy the beauty and opportunities that Tuscany and the area where I live offer all year round. For this reason, I like to share with those who come here to play and train, even if only for a few days, my experiences, my contacts, and my suggestions on excursions or places to visit. I want to make sure that families or small groups of tennis players, in addition to the hours spent with me on the tennis court, take home unique memories of a region that is still to be discovered in many ways.”
